BSK Consulting, L.L.C. provides both quantitative and qualitative research services utilizing a wide array of rigorous methodologies and best practices for social science research. BSK Consulting, L.L.C. is equally adept at desk and field research, and has extensive experience conducting overseas research in conflict and post-conflict zones.
Previous research has focused on issues pertaining to counterinsurgency, counterterrorism, terrorism prevention and preventing/countering violent extremism, counter-narcotics, near-peer competition, unconventional warfare, resistance, security cooperation, transnational organized crime, operations in the information environment, weapons availability and conflict onset, post-conflict reconstruction, and the material and non-material sources of military power. It has leveraged qualitative methods including key stakeholder and focus group interviews, and archival research, as well as quantitative methods, such as statistical analysis (including linear, non-linear, multilevel, event count, survival/time-to-event, spatially weighted regression, network and Bayesian analysis), survey research (including survey experimental research) and quasi-experiments (e.g. field and natural experiments).
BSK Consulting, L.L.C.’s Founder & CEO has completed in excess of 10 million dollars worth of funded research in support of the U.S. Departments of Defense, State and Homeland Security, as well as the National Nuclear Security Administration.
